Too many apps
A calendar here, a strength tracker there, a nutrition app elsewhere. You end up managing data across five tools instead of training.
I was tired of juggling complex tools and a pile of apps with no real guidance — so I'm building the platform I always wanted. Manage and monitor your training, see your own data clearly, and always know what to do next. Pre-register to claim your spot.
Why I'm building this
A calendar here, a strength tracker there, a nutrition app elsewhere. You end up managing data across five tools instead of training.
The serious tools bury what matters under dashboards you need a manual to read. Simple shouldn't mean shallow.
Most apps show you data and stop there. Few tell you what it actually means — or what to do next.
The modules
VeloIQ begins with the core every athlete needs, all in one place and built on repeatable workflows — so your fitness, fatigue, strength and readiness tell one simple, coherent story.
Performance Management
PMC chart, CP/W' model, power curve, and rider type classification. Know exactly where you are in your training cycle and make data-driven decisions about your next block.
AI Coach
The AI has your FTP, your schedule, your readiness score — it doesn't need you to explain the context. Ask about recovery, pacing, or your next race and get a real answer.
Strength + Wellness
Log sets, track PRs, monitor HRV and sleep. The readiness score combines training load, wellness, and subjective check-in into a single daily signal you can actually act on.
Plans That Execute
Build structured workouts with power targets, export to your device, and let the AI generate a full training block around your race calendar. From base to peak — planned and periodised.
Open by Design
Every data point accessible via the MCP API. Connect VeloIQ to Claude, GPT, or any AI client. Your data stays yours — no lock-in, no walled garden.
The plan
VeloIQ starts with the essentials every athlete needs, then grows one focused module at a time. Each module is refined together with the athletes and coaches who actually use it — so the whole thing stays simple, never bloated.
Strava, Dropbox and file upload — your whole training history in one clean timeline.
Fitness, fatigue and form at a glance, with the CP/W′ model and your power curve.
Plan, structure and periodise your season — from base through to race day.
Log sessions and PRs, track HRV and sleep, and get one daily readiness signal.
A coach that already knows your numbers — ask anything and get a real answer.
Your data in Claude, GPT or any client you like. No lock-in, no walled garden.
Daily targets and workout fueling that follow your training load.
Deeper dives into your power, pacing and long-term trends.
Guided field tests that keep your thresholds honest.
For coaches and training partners — compare efforts and manage athletes.
Notes, context and how you felt — right next to the numbers.
The roadmap is steered by the people who use it. Tell me what you need next.
Why I'm building this
I'm Kilian — cyclist, runner and software engineer. I spent years jumping between a calendar here, a strength app there, a nutrition tracker, a pile of spreadsheets and a generic chatbot — paying for some, fighting others, and never getting one clear picture of my own training.
So I started building the tool I actually wanted: one simple place to manage and monitor everything, see my data clearly, and get real guidance on what to do next — all running on repeatable workflows instead of fiddly manual work.
This is an independent passion project. I've been building it for a long time, in the open, and I'm shipping it module by module — refining each one with the athletes and coaches who use it. No bloat, no pressure: just a tool that gets quietly better every week.

FAQ
It's in active development and rolling out module by module. Pre-register and you'll get access in waves as the core modules become ready — early members come first. No hard launch date; I'd rather ship it right than ship it loud.
That's the whole point of building it this way. VeloIQ starts with a focused core, and every new module (nutrition, advanced analysis, testing, comparison, journals and more) is shaped with the people who use it. The goal is to keep each one as simple as possible for athletes and coaches — not to pile on features.
Completely. No credit card, no commitment — just an email so I can let you in when your spot opens, and so you can help steer what gets built next.
Always. Every activity, workout and data point is yours, accessible via the open MCP API and standard exports (FIT, CSV). No walled garden, no lock-in — VeloIQ is just a clearer place to view your data.
No — it's built for endurance athletes (cyclists, runners and triathletes) and the coaches who work with them. Power, pace and HR are all first-class, and you can plan across disciplines in one calendar.
Just me — Kilian Minichberger, a cyclist and software engineer based in Austria. VeloIQ is an independent passion project, built in the open with input from early users. Say hi any time at [email protected].
